Lithium Battery for the MGI ZIP Series Golf Buggy

 

For Zip Navigator & Zip Navigator AT, you must select 24v Extended Lithium Ion Battery (this model must use the higher powered lithium since it is a remote controlled caddy). 250Wh Li battery is not compatible with Zip Navigator and Zip Navigator AT models.

For the Zip X1, X3 and X5 models, you can either select the standard 24v 250w Li Battery (good for up to 36 holes) or the Extended 24v Li battery (good for 36+ holes (+$105)).

Optional charger available.

Easy to order and worked when installed.

OK, but too expensive

My battery was basically OK except for a poor connection within the battery case. Unfortunately, there is not a way to repair this. So the battery itself was still good, but the connection at the Anderson connector was pulling out of it's solder joint. For me this meant poor factory workmanship. MGI would not warranty this, and I was forced to purchase a new battery of lesser capacity.
Ultimately, MGI should at least offer a new battery at a prorated amount. The replacement parts for these things cost way too much.
