I have owned the Zip x1 for over 1 year. While I love the cart I have struggled with balance issues when using my Ping Hoofer. The bag would shift and tended to be top heavy. This made it very difficult to use an umbrella (summer sun). I even purchased the extension block which allows the bag to sit higher. Nothing seemed to help. I was searching for a cart bag and was about to make a purchase when I saw that MGI makes a bag specifically for the Zip series cart. That is when I decided to buy the Lite Play bag. All I can say is WHAT A FIND!
I played my first round today with the bag. The first thing I noticed is how securely the bag sat in the frame. The "Baglink" technology really works. The full length dividers kept the clubs well separated and were easy to pull and put back. There are so many storage pockets that I'm not sure if I will ever use them all. Lastly, the cooler pocket easily held 4 bottles of water plus a sandwich.
The course I play is relatively flat but there are inclines around 1/2 the greens. With the Lite-Play bag the cart went up these inclines with no issue and never felt like it was going to tip over (like it did when using my Ping Hoofer). I used the umbrella and again, no balance issues. All of the issues that I had when using my stand bag went away with the Lite-Play bag.
If you have had any of the issues I described then I would highly recommend the Lite-Play bag. It is well constructed and there doesn't seem to be any seams where the zippers might get hung up. Based on my first impressions I expect this bag to last a long time.
